*Selection Tips:
Long runs/high interference: Use double shielding (aluminum foil + copper braid) and ground shield at both ends
Tight spaces: Choose PUR outer jacket cables for superior flexibility
Fire-sensitive areas: Use LSZH jacketed cables for smoke-free installations
Combined power + signal: Use hybrid VFD cables with integrated feedback/control pairs
CHARACTORISTICS OF Summary
1. Material Comparison: Which one do you need?
Material
Best For...
Key Performance
XLPE
Heavy Duty & Heat
Handles high temperatures (up to 90°C) and short circuits (250°C). Excellent strength.
PVC
General Use & Cost
EPR (Rubber)
Extreme Weather
Works in freezing cold (-40°C) or high heat (+120°C). Great against UV/Sunlight.
PUR
Rough Conditions
Super tough! Resists oil, tearing, and abrasion. Perfect for moving machinery.
2. Quick Selection Checklist
Need high heat resistance? Choose XLPE or EPR .
Need to resist oil and rubbing? Choose PUR .
Budget-friendly indoor project? Choose PVC .
Outdoor/Ozone exposure? Choose EPR .
3. Installation Rule: The "Bending Radius"
Cables can damage their internal wires if bent too sharply. Use the "D" Rule (where D is the outer diameter of the cable) to ensure a safe installation:
Standard Installation:
Single Core: Bend no tighter than 20x the cable diameter.
Multi-Core: Bend no tighter than 15x the cable diameter.
Near Terminal Boxes: You can bend slightly tighter (eg, 12D or 10D ) if using a formed guide to support the cable.
Note: Armored cables (with metal protection) can handle tighter bends than unarmored ones during installation.
